Steak and Tortilla Salad

How to Make It

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius. Brush the tortilla with a little oil and bake on a baking tray for 6 minutes until crisp.

Whilst the tortilla is baking, rub some oil onto the steak and season with salt and pepper.

Place a frying pan on a medium heat and cook the steaks for 2 minutes on each side. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Stone, peel and slice the avocado and set aside.

In a bowl, whisk the mayonnaise, 2 tsp water and the cooked juices from the steak until combined.

Break the tortilla into pieces and thinly slice the steak. Divide the salad between two plates and top with the avocado, steak and tortillas, then drizzle over the dressing.

  • 2 thin-cut sirloin steaks
  • 1 soft tortilla wrap
  • 1 avocado
  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise
  • ½ bag green salad
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
