Turkey Burgers and Sweet Potato Wedges

How to Make It

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celsius. Place the turkey mince in a bowl along with the spring onion, cheddar and salt and pepper. Mix and shape into two burgers, then chill for 15 minutes.

Put the sweet potato wedges on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and toss in some of the oil and salt. Cook in the oven for 30 minutes, shaking halfway.

Heat the rest of the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat and cook the burgers for 8-10 minutes, then turn and repeat on the other side. Ensure they are cooked through.

Place the burgers on the bun, top with lettuce and serve with the sweet potato wedges.

  • 250g turkey thigh mince
  • 500g sweet potato, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 2 bread rolls
  • 40g cheddar cheese, grated
  • ¼ bag iceberg lettuce
  • 1 spring onion, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
